About us

Ocean GeoLoop is a green tech company aiming at using nature’s own way of solving the challenges of our time in a circular way. In 2022, the company introduces the GeoLoop CC technology that captures point source CO2 emissions, using natural and harmless processes, transforming the CO2 to a stable, liquid state. Ocean GeoLoop call this process “Carbon capture by nature.” The GeoLoop CC technology will help companies and countries around the globe to reach their goals of reduced emissions before 2030 and net zero by 2050. The company is listed on Oslo Børs Euronext Growth under the ticker OCEAN.

Ocean GeoLoop AS today announces 2023 revenues of NOK 172.9 million, up from NOK 128.1 in 2022. The company entered the commercial stage during the year, and has in 2024 announced an Enova funded carbon capture project with NorFraKalk to make the company climate neutral.

Ocean GeoLoop announces Enova funded carbon capture project with NorFraKalk

NorFraKalk and Ocean GeoLoop today announces the initiation of a potential large-scale CO2 capture project with the ambition to make NorFraKalk climate neutral. The lime and cement industry accounts for approximately a tenth of the world’s CO2 emissions and is one of the industries where CO2 capture is necessary to achieve the climate goals. The Enova supported carbon capture project aims to showcase the solution.
